Thursday, October 27th at 7:30 PM, AMEN Executive Director, Gerry Shannon, was a guest panelist on the Arlington Independent Media (AIM) program Voicebox, hosted by Christian Doresy.
Gerry, along with a representative from AFAC and the Arlington Free Clinic, were able to will alert the wider community of their role in providing human services to families in need in Arlington, a little history on each non-profit, and much more.

Mission Statement
The mission of AMEN is to provide emergency financial assistance to Arlington residents who are in crisis and unable to pay their bills. AMEN was founded in 1975 by a collaboration of concerned Arlington residents and faith community leaders. Their goal was to create a coordinated response to genuine financial emergency requests, to assure that limited funds would go to serve real needs. AMEN has continued to provide this emergency financial assistance to Arlington residents in need for 35 years.
